Ray Horsch: The Ultimate Sociopathic Villain

Ray Horsch, father of alleged serial killer Eugene Horsch, described himself as a banknote forger, drug smuggler, art forger, army deserter, fugitive, sociopath, and ex-convict.

That’s only half the story.

The “serial killer” label comes from his 2006 experimental horror film, Snuff, which he co-directed and starred in alongside his friend Lorelei. The film was shot in a single afternoon in real-time, with Horsch playing a chillingly realistic perverted serial killer and Lorelei playing the victim. He also played a “deranged mad rapist” in a 1969 adult film.

With his long, wild black hair, eye patch, and a self-described “twisted, dark, and devious” mind, Horsch actively relished playing the villain. His life of “constant reinvention” spans a dozen different careers that make him a perfect subject for an episodic series.
